I’ve been toying with the idea of trading in my first car, a 2006 VW Polo, for something a little more ‘sporty’ so I went scouting for information about the new 2009 VW Golf VI lineup to learn more about one of the most popular cars ever built. I was not very stoked about the new design initially as it felt square and even unfamiliar when compared with the previous models, but I’m warming up to it, especially since I’ve learned more about the design philosophy, construction and performance.
