I’m a big fan of kick-butt desktop wallpaper, but was growing bored with my current collections so I set some time aside to hunt down fresh eye candy… and boy, did I hit paydirt.

I found an enormous collection of awesome shots over at Rizla Suzuki and would like to share a hand picked selection of my favourite 1280×1024 Rizla Suzuki desktop wallpapers with you via Flickr so you can enjoy them too. History of Official FIFA World Cup™ Match Ball

I caught the tail end of a local football show on television last night which featured an insert about the Jabulani, the official match ball to be used at this year’s FIFA World Cup™ to be held in South Africa.

According to the insert the Jabulani is the 11th official match ball designed for use at the event (more about that in just a sec) and is the most technically advanced ball produced to date. I was keen to know more and went on a quick mission to dig up some intel about the Jabulani…

Inspired Bicycles Danny MacAskill Showreel

This amazing tricks video of Inspired Bicycles team rider Danny MacAskill was filmed over the period of a few months in and around Edinburgh by Dave Sowerby and features the best collection of street/street trials riding that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

There’s not only some huge riding, but also some of the most technically difficult and imaginative stunts you will probably ever see. This video pushes the envelope of what is perceived as being possible on a trials bike (I mean, when last did you see someone take a trail bike along the top of a fence?).

In addition to some jaw-dropping tricks, this video features a wicked soundtrack by Band of Horses, specifically the their epic track entitled "The Funeral." You can find out more about the band at their www.bandofhorses.com.
